THIS IS NOT A RACE
This is a “casual” meet-and-greet type event. The goal of this event is to raise money for a fellow runner suffering from an illness.
Donation of any amount is suggested, but not required, to benefit Amy Rose
Light refreshments (bagels, coffee, etc) will be provided
Run is planned rain or shine, wind or snow!

Amy Rose is a 34 year old suffering from a severe form of lupus. Amy was an avid runner, and is no longer able to run due to her illness. She has been forced to give up her job as a result of her lupus. She is in danger of losing her house as she currently has no income. The goal of this run is to raise money to help Amy meet her monthly living expenses.

THIS IS NOT A RACE; rather, this is a reason to unite runners for a “casual” meet-and-greet event to support a fellow athlete. Bring a friend and run at your own pace. The loop around North Park Lake is 5 miles.
